The Five-Fold Gifts

Welcome to the five-fold ministry teaching series

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."

Ephesians 4:11–12 (NKJV)
The Five-Fold Gifts Welcome

Welcome to This Series

This teaching series is an in-depth exploration of Ephesians 4:11 and the five ministry gifts Jesus gave to His church: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. These gifts were not given just to the early church — they are as essential today as they were in the first century.

The purpose of these gifts, as Paul clearly states, is threefold: the equipping of the saints, the work of ministry, and the edifying (building up) of the body of Christ. When these gifts are functioning properly in the church, believers are equipped, the work of the kingdom advances, and the whole body grows into maturity.

"...till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."

Ephesians 4:13 (NKJV)

What You Will Find in This Series

Each section explores one of the five ministry gifts — its scriptural basis, its function in the church, what it looks like in practice, and how it relates to your own calling. Whether you sense a calling to one of these offices, or whether you simply want to understand why God gifted them to the church, this series will give you a solid, scripture-grounded foundation.

We invite you to read, study, pray, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you through this series. These are not merely academic exercises — they are invitations into a deeper understanding of God's design for His church and your place within it.
