"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)Who Are You in Christ?
When you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, something miraculous happened in your spirit — you became a new creation. You were born again, recreated in God's image, and seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). The old nature passed away, and a new nature — God's nature — was imparted to you.
Yet many believers live far below this reality. They struggle with fear, anxiety, condemnation, and a sense of inadequacy, not realizing that these things belong to the old life, not the new. These teachings are designed to help you understand, receive, and walk in the fullness of who you are in Christ.
Peace and Wholeness
God's peace is not the world's peace — it is not merely the absence of conflict or difficulty. It is the shalom of God: a deep, abiding completeness and well-being that surpasses human understanding. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you" (John 14:27). This peace is your inheritance as a believer — receive it.
Cracked Pots
The Apostle Paul writes that we have this treasure — the life and glory of God — in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7). We are cracked pots: imperfect, fragile, ordinary. But the treasure inside us is extraordinary. God chooses the weak things of the world to confound the mighty — not because He is limited, but because His glory shines brightest through our brokenness.
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."
2 Corinthians 4:7 (NKJV)Sweet Communion
Christianity is not a religion of rules and rituals — it is a relationship. At the heart of the Christian life is communion: intimate, ongoing fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This sweet communion is what Jesus died to restore. The veil was torn so that you could enter into the Holy of Holies — not once a year, but every day, every moment.
Learning to cultivate this communion — through prayer, meditation on the Word, worship, and simply practicing the presence of God — is one of the greatest privileges and joys of the believer's life.
